Actress Anu Prabhakar, along with her husband actor Raghu Mukherjee, has refrained from taking their six-year-old daughter Nandana to the movies despite their involvement in the film industry. The one exception was Puneeth Rajkumar's film Gandada Gudi, which they watched together because of its nature and animal theme that Nandana enjoys. Anu mentions that Nandana does not fully grasp her parents' connection to the movies, although she has caught glimpses of them on TV. Nandana seems to show little interest in anything related to the film industry at the moment.
